ouuuuuuuch. hahaha. I just had two of my teeth extracted this morn.cus im fixing braces and everything,so yeah… next week they’re gonna take another two and the following week they’re fixing it up alr la! wahs. so fast! hehs.
ive always had this phobia of the dentist… hahaha. some of you will know why.that said, the extraction, as i realised,was really not what id expected…it was the pain that comes thereafter. haha I got so bloody depressed I didn’t wanna say anything for like two hours la! it’s a whole lot better now… (: so yay.
sometimes in our walk with god we tend to lose sight of the purpose for which we have been called to rise up and fight.
gifford; a soldier for god. its not an easy title to carry. Its not an easy responsibility to hold.
as awesome as it sounds, I struggle with living up to all of this. how many times have we, in one way or another, turned up the volume of this world and listen to all of its lying ways, and at the same time turn down the volume of god?
let me ask you this: what is your cause?
now search your heart, do your actions line up with your beliefs?
Its no easy feat, I’ll give that to you.
but do not worry! for god never brings you to a situation he cannot deliver you from. as with all other things, there is always an open door,should you set your heart on finding it, you will.
‘No one serving as a solidier gets involved in civillian affairs-he wants to please his commanding officer.similarly, if anyone competes as a athlete,he will not receive the victor’s crown unless he competes according to the rules.the hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops’ 2 timothy 2:4-6
think of it this way. if you are a citizen of a certain country, will you not live and abide by its rules and everything?
in the same context as citizens of god’s kingdom should we not also live by what god has laid down for us?
a lot of us fall out simply because 1) we think that it’s the same with god, there are still rules, and shit, he will kill you if you don’t live by them 2) there are restrictions, and no, you prefer to be free. 3) we accept the fact that nothing in this world really belongs to us but we take the rules that apply to this world into the other! that’s like making sushi with noods as filling! never gonna happen!
know your cause,and live by it. its not enough just to know your cause, if you do not understand it well enough you will fall out as well, sometimes tho not by choice, and you will never be able to live by it.
