sup everyone! :D here’s a toast to 20o7!
right. breakout o7 was a blast! yeah, it was a great exp indeed. I don’t have all the pictures in yet so here are just some for your viewing pleasure.my thanks to everyone in the choir for a great time together! (: to shairul,michelle,deyao … It has been great chilling out with y’all :D my thanks to daddy up there for placing you guys in my life! haha. yeah man.
Even as we cross into 20o7,id just like to share with everyone what 2oo6 has been like for me …and also the people that im thankful for.
1) It has marked the beginning of greater faith, a turning point in my christian life.
2) After MOL o5, I came to fcbc, and there, I found a family. and I really love them. every one of them :D
3) Through all the struggles that ive faced,with my faith,with my friends,my family,my studies,my emotions,god dealt with every aspect and built me up where I have fallen,and now ive emerged, stronger.
4) Im thankful to all of my ‘chers! Mr tan,Mr Singh,Ms Chia,Ms Tan,Md Ee,Mgoh,Ms kok,Mrs Lo,and Md woosh! :P , and of course, Ms Chew from o5. All of them have been really great, in more ways than one. sorry for all the stress 4 diligence’o6 has caused you all! every one of you are much appreciated. (“,)
5) All my leaders from fc; Lionel,Terry,Liang Ming,Ps Danny and Evelyn(and the cute princess baby IGNEZ! (: ) god knows where id be without you all. your encouragments, your belief in all of us, your affirmations. Just the knowledge alone that all of you are around for us has sustained me through some of the toughest times in o6.
6) Prelims! why would I be thankful for the prelims, you ask. haha. that’s because I screwed up. yes! and that’s when I realised only god could save me from the disaster I had created for myself. thats when I realised I needed to let go of all my indulgences and turn away from my daily distractions, and instead turn to god. And god has been faithful! from the last few in class during MYE, I leaped to the top 2o.
7) And yes,that brings me to the big O’s! sounds a little wrong la. but we all knows it means o levels right? right? yes. right.i thank Brandon,Louis,Zuliang,Ben,tok,lynn,chuanlian,thengboon,chenglong,arthur … all of you who ive studied with … for those of you who have mugged with me but are not named here,im really soooorry cus im a little tired now so I cant recall specifically. but yes! all of you are greatly appreciated. :D
8) My first encounter at salvation army hq. holy spirit gave me a great vision. :D
9) Hihs MD grp! we’ve once multiplied from four to twelve. And although we’ve divided back to four,im thankful that god has by his grace allowed us to be established in the heart of our school community and have fellowship together! let us all continue to pray that in 2oo7 there will be a breakthrough, that your light will shine and many will come to join you. even though the seniors have graduated, we will still pray for every one of you to be warriors of light in your community.
10) hihs choir! you know my heart will always be with you all. and Ms Yee, for everthing you have done for us and thus in more ways than one, contributed to our strength as a choir, and for stirring up my passion for singing, and a sense of commitment and heart for this choir :D
11) friends … family … you all know who you are! If I were to go any further into 12 points, this entry will be bloody long la, like it isnt already long right. haha. so yes! you all are APPRECIATED AND LOVED!
God,above all else has been faithful and has never ceased to amaze me in every situation.
After the CDP,my bros nigel,gav,kev,bjorn ng,bjorn liu,clement,ryan and I walked eunice and chantel home cus it was really late. then we cabbed to bjorn ng’s place and stayed for the night. thanks bjorn for cooking the noodles! (:
Yep. so now that we’ve beckoned in 2oo7, let us live in the light of the fact that this will be a year of victory. and that…
1) THE TIME HAS COME for an army to rise up and STAND FOR ALL WE BELIEVE IN
2) We will lay aside our struggles and strongholds AT THE CROSS
3) Because we have a god that is MIGHTY TO SAVE
