sup! :D
borrowed this dvd called
‘stay alive’ to watch today cus I was really really bored, and it was bloody creepy! not creepy in a sense that it was gory or anything. just creepy la. you get the drift. and it was like all dark and rainy outside when I watched it! haha! speaking of which, I remember this experience back in kl where the hihs and st gabs choir went for an exchange and performance activity. during the exchange activity with a local university choir, something really creepy happened as well. they were doing their first item, and suddenly from a bright warm afternn it just got all dark and breezy outside! as they went on to the chorus, things got scarier la! cus where they were standing, behind them was full length see-through glass, and we could see the trees swaying violenty against the glass! now that should give you an idea as to how good they were I presume? haha! and that’s just the beginning! they went on to their second exchange item, and midway it just started pouring, with the occasional roar of thunder and flashes of lightning! then the front lights went out, followed by the back lights. now aint this shit just creepy? haha!

ah yes, the choir. I joined in sec one along with
arthur thinking that any time we felt like it, we could just quit and join bball instead. we never did, and never looked back. he since became the chairman, and as for me? I did not take up any leadership roles, but we proceeded to take part in two syf competitions in our four years in the choir, had the privillage of joining the combined schools choir for national day o3, did singout(which was a combined effort with st gabs and phs) anuually amidst our own concerts every alternate yr. we’ve advanced to a much greater standard thn we were at before, all thanks to a conductor I very much respect, Ms Yee!
:D
I remember this time in sec three when we had a competition along the week, and when we got back to class we were all waiting anxiously for the results. our juniors walked past my class and said one very sacred word that all of us who were from the choir in my class will always remember.
‘GOLD!’
haha! after that none of us really paid any attention in class. I was just really absorbed into the fact that we had reached gold status after staying in the bronze region for the longest time. it was not exactly a huge jump tho, we achieved a silver when I was in sec one. all that aside tho, it has truly been an awesome journey with the hihs choir, and having graduated these are now but sweet memories that will always stay with me. (:
